For 40 years, Our Communities Have Been Founded On Providing The Absolute Best Care For Our Residents.

Without their trust in us, we wouldn’t be here today, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve them and create truly personalized experiences every single day. We are exercising an abundance of caution and doing everything in our control to prevent COVID-19 (Coronavirus) from impacting our communities. Our established protocols are in line with those recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and all other national, state, and local governing bodies, as well as local health officials.

We understand times like this can feel unsettling. We want all of our residents, families and employees to know that we are in this together, and that we are fully prepared to navigate this ever-changing situation.

A Message From Our Residents

Updated as of September 1, 2021

Updated Visitation Protocols for our Communities

Independent living visitors are required to follow screening protocols and wear a mask if unvaccinated. Proof of vaccination will be required to remove their mask. Our licensed neighborhoods (assisted living and memory care) require visitors to schedule visits in advance, follow screening protocols and wear a mask. If the resident and their visitor are both vaccinated, masks can be removed once inside the resident’s apartment. Read More

Responsive Measures

Community Measures

The safety of our residents and employees is always our highest priority. To keep our community updated on changes to our COVID-19 safety protocols, we maintain consistent communication with our residents and families via print communication, phone calls, social channels and more. Here is a list of the preventative measures we are currently taking to maintain the well-being of those we serve.

  • Our preventative maintenance process tasks each department with frequently disinfecting and sanitizing high-traffic areas of our communities throughout the day. These areas include handrails, elevators, dining room tables, furniture and more.
  • We utilize cleaning products recommended by the CDC for all disinfecting and sanitizing.
  • All resident events scheduled outside of our communities are pre-scheduled and follow state specific restrictions, social distancing guidelines and frequent hand hygiene.
  • On-site partners are required to follow all screening protocols, social distancing, mask use and hand hygiene.
  • All group life enrichment activities follow community safety guidelines, including distancing, mask use and hand hygiene.
  • Many community events are held outside, and they all follow safety measures, including screening, distancing and masks.

  • Our wellness teams perform routine check-ins with residents every day to ensure their well-being and monitor for any symptoms.
  • We distribute a variety of communication on COVID-19 throughout our communities, including information about our protocols, resources from the CDC on COVID-19 symptoms and how to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Our designated internal team is dedicated to providing routine updates about COVID-19.
  • All shuttle services follow community safety guidelines by utilizing social distancing, following capacity limits and disinfecting.
  • Residents moving into our community are asked to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test prior to move-in.

Employees

    • We have implemented mandatory reinforcement training for all employees on ceasing the spread of germs and viruses.
    • All employees are required to take their temperature and fill out a questionnaire with their travel information and health status before every shift.
    • In the event COVID-19 impacts our communities, we are prepared with a staffing task force of voluntary, specially trained employees that will travel to affected communities and fill any gaps in employment.

Visitor Protocol

  • All visitors must complete the screening tool prior to entering our community.
  • Visitors must always wear a mask when in common areas unless they present a vaccination card.
  • In licensed communities, visitors may remove their mask inside residents’ apartments if both are fully vaccinated. Otherwise, they must always wear their mask
  • Licensed community visitors must call ahead to schedule a time to enter the community.
  • All visitors are required to follow any state and local guidelines for social distancing and mask requirements.
  • Visitation guidelines will be determined by state and local health department guidelines and county/state positivity rates.
