We Honor Our Veterans

Veterans and their spouses have earned a special place in our hearts and communities. This is our tribute to their dedication and influence in our country’s history. We love every opportunity to celebrate their amazing accomplishments. Our Honor Flight adventure is just one of the many ways we dignify our resident veterans.

Veteran Project

The Veteran Project was established to connect, unite and honor those who have served in the Armed Forces. The program founder, Sean Tracy, facilitates the following for residents and affiliates of StoryPoint:

  • Camaraderie Gatherings
  • Historic Presentations
  • Biographies Recorded for the National Archives
  • Replica Models of Military Equipment for Veterans
  • Showcase Tributes in StoryPoint Communities
Veteran Benefits & Aid

StoryPoint is ready to help you and your spouse get the VA assistance you’ve earned! StoryPoint knows how difficult the process can be for obtaining Veterans Benefits. Anytime there are benefits available, the application and approval process can be daunting and overwhelming.

StoryPoint partners with accredited experts to assist in obtaining these earned benefits, and host several complimentary events to educate in planning and filing for benefits.

Contact a Community Specialist to learn more about how you can qualify for these benefits!

“On June 20, 2018 the staff organized a Veteran’s Dedication Wall in our activity center. Each veteran that lives here was interviewed and their picture, branch of service and a small article was framed and placed on the wall. Community members and all of us honored our men and women. A very moving ceremony. The event was a lot of work and taking time to care about our veterans by our staff.”  – Betty, Independence Village of Midland
