We’re so glad you’re here. Independence Village is a place full of warmth, energy and activity. We hope you feel an instant connection to the people that live and work in our community, as we strive to ensure that you enjoy every single moment of every single day here.
With its quaint downtown and friendly neighbors, Oxford is one of the highlights of Northern Oakland County. Our community is part of the Waterstone subdivision and home to the Boulder Point Golf and Country Club. You’d be hard-pressed to find a town with more charm than this.
We believe that our extra effort and attention to detail make us an extra special place to live. Because we know the little things make a difference, we work to make sure that every thing we do – large or small – will help you get more out of every day.
We offer a variety of apartment types, from one- to two-bedroom suites. Each style includes utilities and is ready for immediate move-in. Stylish accents and thoughtful touches make whichever floor plan you choose a wonderful home. Add your personal touch and make the décor as individual as you are.

Our resident craftsmen and tool experts appreciate this as a convenient place to store their projects like wood burning and hand carving. Some residents have been known to throw down their drop cloths here when they are deep in their painting.
Active residents love our Nu Step Machine that takes the ease off the knees for some therapeutic exercises.
Our courtyard provides a tranquil and serene green space for our residents to garden and enjoy nature. It also hosts our garden parties and summer concerts.

We are just minutes from the heart of downtown Oxford, a great hometown village atmosphere that has restaurants, shops, offices and taverns. Festivals, farmers markets, sidewalk sales, and holiday parades make this a bustling attraction all year round. The Lone Ranger Festival is unique to the Oxford area because notable resident Brace Beemer provided the radio show voice. HI-YO SILVER AWAY!
